First crime of Night Stalker(Murder and rape of 79 years old lady):

Richard Ramirez, also known as the "Night Stalker," was a notorious serial killer and rapist who committed a string of crimes in California during the mid-1980s. On June 28, 1984, Ramirez committed one of his most brutal attacks, which took place in the community of Monrovia, Los Angeles.

The crime he committed on June 28, 1984?

Ramirez first entered the home of a 79-year-old woman, Jennie Vincow, while she was sleeping. He proceeded to stab her repeatedly and sexually assaulted her before stealing a number of her belongings. Vincow was found dead by her son the following day, and Ramirez's DNA was later found at the crime scene.

After leaving Vincow's home, Ramirez drove to a nearby neighborhood where he broke into the home of the Khovananth family. He shot and killed the family patriarch, Chitat Khovananth, and then proceeded to assault and rape his wife, Sakina, in front of their 8-year-old son. Ramirez also tied up their son and demanded to know where their valuables were kept, threatening to kill the boy if they didn't comply.

Ramirez then fled the scene, but not before he shot and injured their 3-year-old daughter, Mary. Sakina survived the attack and was able to provide a description of her attacker to the police.

Ramirez went on to commit many more crimes before being captured in August 1985. He was eventually convicted of 13 counts of murder, 5 counts of attempted murder, 11 counts of sexual assault, and 14 counts of burglary. He was sentenced to death and died in prison in 2013 while awaiting execution.
